"Good dark red. Subdued, deep aromas of currant, plum and tobacco leaf, with a hint of nutty oak. Juicy, spicy and firmly built, with good spine to the red fruit and blueberry flavors. In fact, this fresh but brooding wine is a bit youthfully disjointed and needs a good four or five years of bottle aging. Finishes with a firm tannic backbone and very good rising length."
